• President Vicente Fox Quesada

     Vicente Fox Quesada is a Mexican businessman and politician who served as President of Mexico from 1 December 2000 to 30 November 2006 and currently serves as co-President of the Centrist Democrat International, an international organization of Christian democratic political parties.  Mr. Fox was elected President of Mexico in the 2000 presidential election, a historically significant election that made him the first president elected from an opposition party since Francisco I. Madero in 1910 and the first one in 71 years to defeat, with 42 percent of the vote, the then-dominant Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI).  After serving as president of Mexico for six years, President Fox returned to his home state of Guanajuato, where he resides with his wife and family. Since leaving the presidency, Vicente Fox has been involved in public speaking and the construction of the Vicente Fox Center of Studies, Library and Museum.  Mr. Fox is a member of the Club of Madrid, an independent non-profit organization composed of 81 democratic former Presidents and Prime Ministers from 57 different countries.
  • Mr. Laurence Belfer

     Laurence D. Belfer is Chief Executive Officer of Belfer Management, LLC in New York, NY. Belfer Management LLC is a family investment firm that emphasizes the energy, real estate and financial services industries.  The Belfer family has been investing in the energy business for over 50 years, the real estate business for over 40 years and the financial services business for approximately 30 years.  Previously, Laurence served as Vice-Chairman, President and Chief Operating of Belco Oil and Gas Corp. (“Belco”), a public independent exploration and production company.  He then served as Director and Member of the Nominating and Governance Committee of Westport Resources Corp. (the successor to Belco), until it was acquired by Kerr-McGee in a $3.5 billion stock transaction in June 2004.  He was also the co-founder of Harvest Capital, a hedge fund focusing on merger arbitrage and event situations.  In addition, he serves on the Board of Directors of The Belfer Foundation and the 92nd St. Y.  He has served as Co-Chair of his 10th, 15th and 20th Year College Reunions of Harvard University and is a member of International Council of the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard.  Laurence is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and is a Crown Fellow at The Aspen Institute.  He is a 1988 graduate with honors from Harvard University who earned his Juris Doctor degree from Columbia Law School in 1992.  He and his wife, Carolyn, their two sons and daughter live in New York, NY.
  • Mr. Homer Robinson

     Homer Robinson became President and CEO of the Kaiserman Company in October, 2012, after serving as the company’s General Manager.  Kaiserman Company is a privately held real estate development company, headquartered in Philadelphia, which owns and manages more than 3.5 million square feet of commercial office, retail, and multi-family residential properties across the Delaware Valley. Prior to joining Kaiserman, Mr. Robinson worked in the New Mexico office of the Jonathan Rose Companies, a multi-disciplinary, mission-driven real estate firm based in New York City, where he helped lead a team in the successful development of downtown Albuquerque’s Alvarado Transportation Center, including the LEED® Platinum Silver Gardens Apartment complex, winner of the EPA’s Smart Growth Award. While at Jonathan Rose Companies, Mr. Robinson also oversaw the installation of over 150 kW of solar PV, and developed and managed the company’s national carbon neutrality effort. An attorney by training, Mr. Robinson spent his legal career working in public interest law, serving first as a public defender in Atlanta, Georgia, and then as a staff attorney at the NM Center on Law and Poverty.  Mr. Robinson is a LEED® Accredited Professional, a member of the New Mexico Bar, and a graduate of Amherst College and Yale Law School.
  • Dr. Andrea Mammoli

    Andrea Mammoli is Regents’ Lecturer and Halliburton Professor in the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering at the University of New Mexico. He graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in 1991, and with a Ph.D. in 1995, from the Department of Mechanical & Materials Engineering at the University of Western Australia. He was a Director Funded Postdoctoral Fellow at Los Alamos National Laboratory from 1995 to 1997. He subsequently joined the University of New Mexico as a research faculty member.  Along with his teaching and research, Mammoli is Director of the Center for Emerging Energy Technologies. His current research deals with the integration of building-scale energy systems with the electricity grid, particularly as applied to energy storage and distributed systems management. His projects received several awards, including the Association of Energy Engineers Region 4 Renewable Energy Project of the Year in 2009 and the GridWise Architecture Council’s GridWise Applied Award in 2008. He is the recipient of the 2011 Energy Educator of the Year award from the New Mexico Association of Energy Engineers.
