Jason M. Aryeh is Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Rio Grande Renewables, and has served in such capacity for over eight years. Additionally, Mr. Aryeh is the Founder and Managing General Partner of JALAA Equities, LP, a private hedge fund focused on the life-sciences sector, and has served in such capacity since 1997. Mr. Aryeh serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Novelion Therapeutics (NASDQ: NVLN) and serves as Chairman of its Transaction Committee and on its Corporate Nominating & Governance Committee. Mr. Aryeh also serves on Ligand Pharmaceuticals (NASDQ: LGND) Board of Directors and serves as the Chairman of its Corporate Nominating & Governance Committee and as a member of its Compensation Committee. Mr. Aryeh also serves as a Director of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Therapeutic Board. Mr. Aryeh has served on the Board of Directors of seven US publicly traded companies, in addition to multiple private companies and charitable organizations.
Mr. Aryeh earned a B.A. in economics, with honors, from Colgate University, and is a member of the Omnicron Delta Epsilon Honor Society in economics.

Brian J. Schmidly is a seasoned entrepreneur and an experienced corporate executive having worked in startups, private and Fortune 100 companies. Since graduating with an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, Brian has held senior positions in both marketing and operations in Latin America and the United States. He is also a LEED-AP® and a frequent speaker at conferences on renewable throughout the hemisphere. In his free time, Brian works with the DESERTEC Foundation in Germany, and coaches his two boys in soccer. Brian and his wife Carla reside in both Puebla, Mexico and Placitas, New Mexico.

Benjamin Rodefer grew up in Corrales, NM and Berkeley, CA. Mr. Rodefer attended Cornell University and has founded several companies, including GoBox Software and Vibeway Games. He is a former member of the New Mexico House of Representatives and a life-long supporter of sustainable development and clean energy. He is a two-time past President of the New Mexico Renewable Energy Industries Association.
